East Side Parents,
Students may ONLY be dropped off at the Church Street entrance- door 1. Do NOT enter the staff parking lots to drop off your child. The east lot is used for bus drop off ONLY. This ensures the safety of our students. If you have any questions please reach out to the office.
East Side is ready for August 14! Just a reminder doors will open at 7:30am. Dismissal for pick up students- 3rd grade- 1:50pm, 4th grade- 1:55pm and 5th grade-2:00pm at the Church Street entrance. These dismissal times will run until Labor Day.

East Side's Student Council is hosting an EASTER EGG HUNT! For this to be successful we need help from you! We need plastic eggs and candy to fill them. We have some however we want there to be plenty for all to enjoy!

East Side students will be taking the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) this week. Please make sure your child gets plenty of sleep and is on time each day. Thank you
East Side Handbook:
“Student cell phones at school are becoming more common even for our intermediate age students. While it is not a problem for students to possess a cell phone/smart watch, it must be turned off and kept in their backpack. Students are not permitted to use cell phones/smart watches during any part of the school day as they are a distraction in the academic environment and could potentially infringe upon individuals privacy in the school setting.”
Once students are in the school building phones must be placed in backpacks. If a student is seen with a cell phone out during the day, it will be confiscated and kept in the office until a parent or guardian can pick it up.
East Side parent please discuss this information with your student. If you have any questions please contact the office during regular school hours.
Youth Spelling Bee Championship
East Side: There will be no SIC tutoring on Tuesday, January 16.
East Side, temperatures will be colder this week. All students need to bring a coat for recess. If they do not bring a coat they will not be allowed to go outside. We want to keep our students safe and healthy.
