Students planning to go to college should
complete their FAFSA as soon as possible if they
have not already done so.
Thursday, March 31st – SIC representatives will
be here to sign up students for SIC (ECP) Early
College Program classes. Students can sign up in
the guidance office.

Scholarships
Going Merry Scholarships – Goingmerry.com has
several different scholarships that students can
apply for. Each month the scholarships change.
Golden Apple Scholarship – Students interested in
teaching can apply for this scholarship.
Information is available in the Guidance Office.
StudentScholarships.org – This website has
several different scholarships that students can
apply for.
SIU Credit Union Scholarship – SIU Credit Union is
pleased to announce that they are offering five
$1,000 scholarships. To obtain a scholarship
application go to www.siucu.org/scholarship or
stop by a local SIU Credit Union branch.
Applications must be received by March 31, 2022.
Gallatin-Saline Retired Teachers Association
Scholarship – A $500 scholarship will be awarded
to a student from Gallatin or Saline County who
plans to become a teacher. Applications are
available in the Guidance Office. Applications
must be postmarked by March 15, 2022.
American Society for Quality Scholarship – The
American Society for Quality (ASQ) Evansville-
Owensboro Section 0915 is offering a $500
scholarship to a high school senior graduating
from a high school in their section area.
Applications are available in the Guidance Office.
Applications must be scanned and emailed by
March 31, 2022.
PB & J Scholarship- This scholarship is for
students who have experienced personal
challenges that may not have allowed them to
perform well academically, who still have the
drive to succeed. Use this link to apply.

2022 Sons of the American Legion Bill Henshaw
Scholarship Program – The scholarship will be
granted to assist the applicants of Harrisburg in
their pursuit of an undergraduate degree or
vocational skill. Applications are available in the
Guidance Office. Applications must be
postmarked by Monday, April 11, 2022.
Harrisburg Kiwanis Club 2022 Scholarship – The
Harrisburg Kiwanis Club will offer a
scholarship(s) to Southeastern Illinois College to a
graduating senior (boy or girl) at Harrisburg High
School. The maximum total amount of
scholarships offered will be $750. Applications
are available in the Guidance Office. Applications
must be completed and returned to the HHS
Guidance Counselor by March 31, 2022.
“No Sweat” Scholarship – It is called “No Sweat”
because there is no minimum G.P.A. or Essay
required. Information is available in the Guidance
Office.
Saline County Chamber of Commerce Scholarship
The student must plan to enroll full-time at SIC.
The student must have a 2.5 G.P.A. or better.
Applications are available in the Guidance Office.

Rotary International District 6510 Foundation
2022 Scholarship – Two high school seniors
residing in Rotary District 6510 will receive a
$2,500 scholarship. Applications are available in
the Guidance Office. Applications have to be
received by April 1, 2022
Harrisburg Rotary Scholarship - The local Rotary
Scholarship application is available in the
Guidance Office. Applications are due to Mr.
McKinstry by March 29, 2022
2022 Future Healthcare Hero Award- This
scholarship is for students interested in a career
in the healthcare field. Deadline to apply is April
15, 2022.
H.E.A. Scholarship – Applications are available in
the Guidance Office. Applications are due by
March 31, 2022.
N.G. Cowen Scholarship – The Illinois Masonic
Children’s Assistance Program (IMCAP), an Illinois
Freemasonry Charity is partnering with the
Southern IL Masonic Lodges in offering the N.G.
Cowen Scholarship to provide financial assistance
to young adults from small towns in southern
Illinois pursuing training in the vocational or trade
fields. Deadline to apply is March 31, 2022.
Egyptian Health Department Scholarship – This
scholarship is for students interested in a career
in the health care field. Applications are available
in the Guidance Office. The deadline to apply is
April 14, 2022.
Ferrell Hospital Scholarship – Ferrell Hospital is
offering a scholarship for students interested in a
career in healthcare. Applications are available in
the Guidance Office. The deadline to apply is
Friday, April 8 th .
WADI Scholarship – Students whose families have
very low income can apply for this scholarship.
Applications are available in the Guidance Office.
