Today, Harrisburg Middle School staff discovered a threatening note in a classroom. Our safety team responded immediately, identified the student responsible, and released the student to parents and the Harrisburg Police Department.
Later, a separate student made a threatening remark involving a plastic binder. That student was also released, and the Harrisburg Police Department is following up on both incidents.
Police are investigating both situations. At no time were students in danger. Staff responded quickly, identified the concerns promptly, and followed all safety protocols.
