Without this insurance, any damage or issues with the Chromebooks will be your responsibility. This coverage must be purchased yearly. Contact your child’s school if you have any questions.

Parents,
Today at approximately 10:45 a.m., Harrisburg Unit 3 was notified of a random Snapchat post indicating a threat to a school. There was no particular school, student, or staff member identified. ALL Harrisburg Unit #3 schools were put on lockdown and law enforcement was notified, and are currently assisting in the investigation. Again, there is no credible threat to any Harrisburg school. At this time, there is no need to remove your child from school and all students are safe.

We have had our main HVAC unit at West Side School go out. These repairs will take at least the weekend . Due to this event West Side school will be closed tomorrow Friday August 28th. TEACHERS SHOULD REPORT AS USUAL.

This is in alignment with Executive Order 2021-18, which requires universal indoor masking for youth in public and nonpublic schools serving students from prekindergarten through grade 12 (P-12). Individuals playing sports indoors must wear a mask during training, competition, other active exercise, and during other contacts that do not occur during gameplay, such as on the sideline or bench, in the locker room, during team meetings, in the weight room, on the team bus. *All spectators, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a mask in attendance at indoor sporting events, home or away. All spectators must wear a mask if the event is held indoors in a public or nonpublic P-12 school setting.

Reminder for East and West Side Students: We will be having our open house at East and West Side schools tomorrow, Tuesday August 17th from 4:00-6:00. Students may come meet their teacher and are encouraged to bring their school supplies.
