Update: HCUSD #3 schools were put on a soft lockdown as a precaution. There was not a threat against the school nor any student. We have been given an all clear and normal operations have resumed. Again, this was a precaution and we thank you for your cooperation.

Parents and Students- We just completes the inspection of our buildings. There were NO further findings which confirmed our suspicion that this was an isolated incident. However, we have them coming back tomorrow to treat the buildings as a precaution. ENJOY YOUR THANKSGIVING
We are contacting the Bus Company now and will dismiss as soon as we can get bus drivers to buildings. We will spend Thanksgiving Break working with Terminex to make sure we have the buildings clear of any threat or possibility that this is a continuing problem.
Parents, We have just been informed that 3 insects that were found at West Side School and the High School have been identified as bed bugs. We feel this is an isolated incident, but have contacted Terminex to come and inspect all of our buildings to make sure we are safe.
