REGULAR DISMISSAL will begin next week on Tuesday 9/7. For West Side students, Pre-K/Kindergarten will dismiss at 2:30 and 1st/2nd Grade will dismiss at 2:40. Every FRIDAY we will resume the shortened dismissal with Pre-K/Kindergarten dismissing at 1:30 and 1st/2nd Grade at 1:40. Thank you and have a great extended weekend!

REMINDER: Tomorrow is the last day to pay for insurance for student Chromebooks. The cost is $30 and checks are payable to Harrisburg CUSD#3. Without this insurance, any damage or issues with the Chromebooks will be your responsibility. This coverage must be purchased yearly. Contact your child's school if you have any questions.

ATTENTION Unit #3: Parents of West Side students, We have had our main HVAC unit at West Side School go out. These repairs will take at least the weekend. Due to this event, West Side school will be closed tomorrow Friday August 28th. TEACHERS/STAFF SHOULD REPORT AS USUAL. Thank you

Attention 1st Grade Parents: Starting Monday August 23rd, Pre-K will be in attendance. Their dismissal time during early dismissal through Labor Day is at 1:30 at the front of the building on Lincoln St. (the same dismissal location as 1st grade). If you are picking-up a first grade student, please DO NOT line up in front of the building until your pick-up time at 1:40 when Pre-K parents are clear of the area. This will help prevent traffic congestion and longer pick-up times. It would be best to start the 1st grade line behind the Ledford St. crossing on Lincoln St. (the block before the school). We will have signs and cones out to assist with this process. All pick-up lines should be single-file lines. Please bear with us as we try to make dismissal as smooth as possible. This will hopefully get smoother as the year progresses. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
