We will have an early dismissal schedule on Friday, February 28. Kindergarten will dismiss at 11:10 a.m., and first and second grade will dismiss at 11:15 a.m.

Get ready for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! Starting March 3, West Side is selling raffle tickets for a chance to ride to school on a FIRE TRUCK 🚒 with the incredible Harrisburg Fire Department!
🎟 Tickets: $1 each or 6 for $5. Tickets will be sold in the morning outside of the gym and cafeteria.
📅 Weekly Rides Begin: The week of April 7 and continue for 6 weeks—a new lucky student will be chosen each week!

Today, our students and staff had a blast celebrating 100 days of school! 🎉
👵🧓 Some of our students dressed up as 100-year-olds (adorable!), while others got busy counting items into groups of 100. Our teachers went all out, decorating classrooms to mark the occasion!
It’s been 100 days of learning, growing, and having fun together.
West Side's dismissal for Friday, January 31, is 12:30 for kindergarten and 12:35 for first and second grade.
Classroom yearbook pictures scheduled for tomorrow have been canceled. We’ll share the rescheduled date as soon as it’s available.

Due to road construction on Ledford Street, 2nd grade dismissal pick up will take place on Lincoln Street today 1/17. Hopefully, this will be our final day of dealing with the construction.
No school on Monday, January 20, due to Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Due to road construction at the corner of Raymond and Ledford/Land Streets, 2nd grade dismissal pick up will take place on Lincoln Street again today 12/20. Also, just a reminder that we will have an early dismissal today. K will start dismissing at 1:30 and 1st/2nd will dismiss at 1:35.
