Freshmen Orientation!

Join us this Thursday, February 26, for the 2nd annual Unit #3 Fine Arts Night! The night will start with an art show from 5:00-6:15 featuring artwork by our students at BELA, West Side, East Side, HMS, and HHS, plus a display from the HHS Speech team. At 6:30, there will be a concert with performances by the cast of Anastasia, the East Side choir and band, plus HMS and HHS Bands. There will be concessions available throughout the night.

This event is free and open to the public. Come help us celebrate our amazing Unit #3 fine arts students!

Priority 4: Last night, we celebrated Coach Kyle McGowan’s accomplishments and lifelong dedication to Harrisburg Unit 3 athletics by officially naming the Kyle McGowan Fitness Center! Coach McGowan spent years leading fundraising campaigns to build his vision for our students. From all of us at Bulldog Nation, we thank you! 💜🐾

Tonight at 6:30 PM, we will hold a short ceremony before the boys’ regional ballgame at Harrisburg Middle School to honor an incredible individual with the dedication of our fitness center in his name. In 2006, Kyle McGowan asked permission to begin fundraising to build a Fitness Center at HMS, a vision that has strengthened our school community and impacted generations of students.
Please join us in recognizing his lasting impact and legacy at the newly named Kyle McGowan Fitness Center. We hope to see you there.

At this time, all Harrisburg Unit 3 Schools are scheduled for in-person learning on Tuesday, February 3. Buses will run where possible, and we ask everyone to take their time during the morning commute. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! 💜🐾
