Schools across Illinois have been receiving “swatting” (hoax) calls stating that there is an active shooter. As you can imagine, this has caused chaos in many communities. We want to thank our local law enforcement for their increased presence in our schools today. Two schools went on a temporary lockdown as a precaution. We want everyone to know that our students are safe and attending classes as normal. Harrisburg was not a target of any calls or threats.

The Harrisburg Township Park District Easter Egg Hunt will be Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Bill Rice Memorial Soccer Complex. There will be prizes and you can take your picture with the Easter Bunny. There will be kite flying immediately following the Easter Egg Hunt and a limited number of free kites will be available. Please bring your own basket or bag to hunt for the Easter Eggs.
Our youngest Bulldogs are ready to have a great week before Spring Break! We will dismiss at 2:00 p.m. this Friday, March 31st! Spring Break is April 3-7. We will welcome everyone back on April 10th to finish the year strong!
