Save the Date: HHS Winter Sports Pictures are tomorrow, Wednesday, November 29, at 2:00 pm in Davenport Gym (Boys and Girls Basketball, Wrestling, Cheer, and Bowling). Proofs will come to the school to pass out to each athlete to bring home, pictures will be ordered online.
HHS Football Awards for all Cheerleaders, Freshman, Sophomore, and Varsity teams will be held Wednesday, November 29 at 7 pm in the HHS Cafeteria, all parents may attend. Leftover 2023 Football Playoff shirts will be on sale at a discounted price as well that evening. Go Dogs!
Stuff the Barrel! The Salvation Army of Southern Illinois will be here at Harrisburg High School, Saturday, December 9th collecting items for our local food pantries and ringing the bell for donations for our first home boys basketball game. Please bring food items and donations!
Priority #2 focuses on building community partnerships. Thank you to our HMS nurse Emily Wells for pursuing and obtaining a stop the bleed kit for every school through a generous donation from SIH. Harrisburg High School will play against Murphysboro High School in the IHSA Class 4A Quarterfinal Football Playoff Game at Taylor Field on Saturday, November 11 at 2 pm. The gates will open at 12 noon.
All fans, except babies carried by their parents, need a ticket to enter the game. Passes will not be accepted. Fans can purchase tickets in two ways:
*At the ticket gates (West and North Gates) for $8 cash each.
*Through GoFan.co for $7 each using a smartphone. GoFan tickets must be presented at the gates on your smartphone on game day. Please pull up tickets on your smartphone prior to reaching the gates.
