
HHS Locker Info:
After serious thought and discussion, a decision has been made for students to utilize lockers after we come back from Labor Day. We are still waiting on all the combination locks to come into the office. Once this happens, we will be assigning lockers to students. Only school locks will be used and there will be a $7.00 fee to purchase the lock. Students will still be using the clear backpacks to transport items to and from school.

The deadline to purchase chromebook insurance is September 1. Please contact the high school office for any additional information. The cost of insurance is $30 per school year.

Friday Night, August 26 at the Harrisburg vs. East Alton-Wood River Football game at 7 pm., all First Responders will receive free entry to the game at Wood River and be recognized prior to the game. All Harrisburg First Responders are invited to participate.

For Immediate Release: At the Purple/White Football Scrimmage tonight there will be areas that will be off limits due to continuing construction at Taylor Field. Please enter the West Ticket Booth Gate and proceed to the main stadium bleachers. Please stay out of fenced areas.

Harrisburg Football Purple/White Scrimmage tonight, Friday August 19 at 6 pm at Taylor Field. (Freshman, then Sophomore, followed by the Varsity) Entry fee is $1 or a non-perishable food item (All proceeds and food will be donated to the 4 C's) Come out and see Bulldog Football.

If you have already registered and haven't double checked your forms- please log into your PowerSchool account and double check that ALL forms show a green leaf/submitted. Our registration reports are indicating that we don’t have equal responses to every form.
The student will not be considered registered and will not get a chrome book until all forms are submitted. Registration should be completed by midnight on 8/16/22
Bus form update- If you haven't already double checked your bus form then we need you to go back into form 7b- Bus Rider Information to double check bus numbers. We have noticed that bus numbers are missing for those who are bus eligible even though the student doesn’t ride a bus. We need all eligible students to select Yes they are eligible and then enter the home bus number. Further information is listed on the form. If the student does ride a bus please follow the new instructions listed on the form.
Before creating a new account, please call the school to verify if you already have an existing parent school account or if you need the parent user name, password, parent access ID.

Dear HHS students,
Welcome back to the 2022/2023 school year. The following message contains important information for the first day of school on Wednesday, August 17. Please arrive at school by 8:00 am and enter through door #24. All students and faculty will start the day in Davenport Gym for opening remarks. We will then go to homerooms followed by an abbreviated seven period school day. Dismissal will be at 2:00 pm through Labor Day. See everyone on Wednesday.

HHS Student Registration Highlights
Registration is now open.
Hours:
Seniors Aug, 9th, Juniors Aug 10th, Sophomores Aug 11th, Freshman Aug 12th. Hours are 8am-12pm and 1pm-3pm
All parents must register their students online. If you do not have access to register online from home you may come to the High School and use our computer lab.
If you have already completed registration, please log back into your account and double check that forms 1-9b have all been submitted . The leaf will change to green and show submitted. If it's not submitted it will show empty. The student will not be considered registered until all forms are submitted.
You have the option to pay for chrome book insurance and drivers Ed on the form 8b or pay offline at the school the week of registration.
Parking - students need to come on their registration day to select their parking space and pay $25.00. If you are paying fees by check please write a separate check for parking. Seniors Aug, 9th, Juniors Aug 10th, Sophomores Aug 11th, Freshman Aug 12th. Hours are 8am-12pm and 1pm-3pm
Registration process:
Visit harrisburg3.org - select menu, select powerschool
If you already have a parent account, select parent log in. If you do not have an account, select create an account. When creating an account you will enter parent information: Name, email address, user name (this is a name you create for yourself to access the account), password (this is a password that will allow you to log your account once it is created.)
It will ask you to link students. Enter student name, access id and access password - If you don't know this information please call the High School Office 618-253-7637 Ext: 2000 and ask for parent powerschool access id and password. You will be able to link multiple students but you will need the parent access id and password for each student. If you don't have each student's parent info at the time you are creating the account you will be able to link students after the account it created. Once the account is created, you will get a screen notification telling you the account has been created and you need to check your email to verify the account. Once an account is verified then log into powerschool.
In powerschool you will need to select forms -
Logging in with a computer? - on the left side menu bar select forms, then select enrollment. Please complete all forms 1-9b. Please do not complete form 5- Lunch form. Please check that all forms have been submitted. The leaf will change to green and show submitted. If it's not submitted it will show empty.
Logging in with a cell phone using a web browser or powerschool app?
Select forms- it might be under more in the lower right if you are using powerschool app. Or there is a small arrow that points left to right in the upper left side of the app. Select enrollment. On a cell phone you will have to use the drop down under general to select enrollment. Please double check that form 1-9b has been submitted. Please do not complete form 5 the lunch form. The leaf will change to green and show submitted. If it's not submitted it will show empty.
*If you log in and the forms are grey and it won't allow you to type in the fields then you are logged in powerschool as a student instead of the parent.
*If you try to log in and the account says the email already exists - please call the office so we can reset your information.
