Open gym for incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls interested in playing volleyball next year will be in the HMS gym on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm throughout the month of June.
We are selling HHS Football hats for $30. All proceeds go towards a bronze Bulldog to be placed outside the Al Way Field House at Taylor Field to start a new tradition as our HHS Bulldog Football team enters the field from their locker room. Harrisburg High School Color Guard Tryout Information: We are looking for new members for next year! Guard tryouts are next week on Wednesday, May 29 and Thursday, May 30 from 3:30 - 5:30 at HHS. Color Guard is open to any incoming freshman. Band and guard are great ways to get involved in activities at HHS, and as a bonus, it fulfills the required PE credit!

Information about the 2024 Junior High Football Camp hosted by the HHS football coaches and players. This is open to incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.

Reminder that Honors Day for 6th and 7th grade students is this morning at 9:00 am at HMS. Parents and other family members are invited to attend. If you plan to sign your child out following Honors Day, please sign the sign out sheet at the door of the gym. Students may only be signed out by a parent/guardian or other adults listed on their emergency contact list.
This is a reminder that tomorrow, May 21, all 8th grade students will leave HMS at 8:45 a.m. to go to practice for their Promotion Ceremony at Harrisburg High School. Students are required to attend this practice in order to participate in the ceremony. They will be dismissed from Davenport Gym at HHS at 10:30 a.m. Students will not be returning to HMS. Additional information is included in the attached letter.

This is a reminder to 8th grade parents who purchased tickets to go on the Holiday World Trip on Thursday, May 16: Tickets MUST be picked up in the HMS office no later than Wednesday, May 15 at 3:00. Contact the office if you have questions.

HMS students are having a great time tonight at the Hawaiian Dance! This is a reminder it ends at 7:00 pm. See you in 25 minutes!


Tonight is the Hawaiian Dance at HMS from 5:30 - 7:00 pm. Admission is $5 and concessions will also be available for purchase. HMS students only and school dress code applies. Students on social suspension for behavior (less than 60 Bulldog Club points) and students who were not in attendance for a full day today MAY NOT attend the dance. All other students are eligible to attend.
There will be HMS track practice until 4:00 pm today.

HMS track practice is cancelled for today. The Regional track meet is tomorrow at Harrisburg. Students who are participating will be bussed down to Taylor Field at 8:15 am. Field events will start at 9:45 am and running events are scheduled to start at 11:45 am.

The HMS book fair is open today and tomorrow (Wednesday and Thursday) in the Media Center. It will also be open during the Spring Showcase on Thursday evening (April 25). Thank you for supporting the reading program at HMS.
