HMS parents/guardians: If your child is exempt from taking semester exams, you do not need to call them in for the next 3 days. If your child is arriving at school for an exam after 8:00 am, they need to enter through the office entrance. Students should arrive at least 10 minutes prior to their exam time to allow time to pick up their chromebook from their homeroom and get to their class for the exam. Students leaving after an exam but before dismissal time may be picked up in the front of the building.

Congratulations to HMS 8th grader, Saylor Pilcher! We are thrilled to announce that Saylor Pilcher has been selected to participate in the Illinois Basketball All State Game, honoring her as one of the top basketball athletes in the state. Saylor also makes history as the first female athlete from Harrisburg Middle School to earn this honor. The three-day event will be held June 4–6, 2026, in Chicago. Saylor’s hard work and determination continue to make Bulldog Nation proud.
