Please make sure when you are dropping off your student before school or picking your child up after school that you refrain from using your phone in the loading zones. We had a dangerous situation occur yesterday with a student exiting a car and another vehicle came zooming past a line of cars. This particular person was distracted by using their phone and did not see the student which created a dangerous situation. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Youth Spelling Bee Championship
We are on an early dismissal for Friday, Feb. 23. Kindergarten students must be picked up at 11:10 am. First and second grade will dismiss at 11:15 am.

West Side will be celebrating the 100th day of school on Thursday, Feb. 01! Students can dress like they are 100 years old.

West Side students will be attending Seussical the Musical at HMS on Thursday, Jan. 25. If your child hasn't brought $1 yet to cover the cost, please send the money to school tomorrow, Jan. 24.
