This is a reminder that tomorrow, May 21, all 8th grade students will leave HMS at 8:45 a.m. to go to practice for their Promotion Ceremony at Harrisburg High School. Students are required to attend this practice in order to participate in the ceremony. They will be dismissed from Davenport Gym at HHS at 10:30 a.m. Students will not be returning to HMS. Additional information is included in the attached letter.
This is a reminder to 8th grade parents who purchased tickets to go on the Holiday World Trip on Thursday, May 16: Tickets MUST be picked up in the HMS office no later than Wednesday, May 15 at 3:00. Contact the office if you have questions.

HMS students are having a great time tonight at the Hawaiian Dance! This is a reminder it ends at 7:00 pm. See you in 25 minutes!
Tonight is the Hawaiian Dance at HMS from 5:30 - 7:00 pm. Admission is $5 and concessions will also be available for purchase. HMS students only and school dress code applies. Students on social suspension for behavior (less than 60 Bulldog Club points) and students who were not in attendance for a full day today MAY NOT attend the dance. All other students are eligible to attend.
There will be HMS track practice until 4:00 pm today.

HMS track practice is cancelled for today. The Regional track meet is tomorrow at Harrisburg. Students who are participating will be bussed down to Taylor Field at 8:15 am. Field events will start at 9:45 am and running events are scheduled to start at 11:45 am.

The HMS Spring Showcase is tonight from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. We hope to see you there!
The HMS book fair is open today and tomorrow (Wednesday and Thursday) in the Media Center. It will also be open during the Spring Showcase on Thursday evening (April 25). Thank you for supporting the reading program at HMS.
Parents/Guardians of HMS 8th grade students, there will be an 8th grade fundraiser at the Spring Showcase on Thursday, April 25. Students are asked to bring a 12 pack of Coke, Diet Coke or Sprite for this fundraiser by Wednesday, April 24. In addition to the 12 pack of soda, if you are able to bring a pack of Little Debbie Snack Cakes, that would also be appreciated. Proceeds will be used to help with the cost of the 8th grade graduation t-shirts that will be worn at the Promotion Ceremony on May 21. More information about the Promotion Ceremony will be sent home this week.
This Week at HMS and HMS Important Dates for the remainder of the year. For those attending Golf Regionals, 7th Grade Track Meet or the Earth Day Clean Up with Mr. McGowan and Mr. Simpson, please dress appropriately and bring your sunscreen. It will be cool in the morning and sunny and warmer in the afternoon. If you are part of the clean up crew, make sure you wear comfortable clothes/shoes and bring money to eat at the Dairy Queen since you won't be back in time for lunch.
