HMS Parents: On Friday, our students will take the 5 Essentials Survey. This survey asks students about their experiences in school and gives us critical student input to help develop school improvement plans. You have the opportunity to review the survey and opt your child out if you wish. There is a link in the attached letter to review the survey. To opt out, you must sign the attached form and send it back to school with your child on or before Friday, February 26. If the form is not received, it is assumed that your child may participate. In person students brought these forms home today. They also brought home a letter regarding the parent survey. This survey allows parents to share their thoughts on the important elements of school effectiveness about our school. Please take a few minutes and complete that survey. There is a link in the attached parent letter and also on our FB page. All HMS students will be remote learners tomorrow due to inclement weather. I am attaching the remote learning plan for all students - in person and remote. There will be no Google Meet classes but students should sign in to their Google Classrooms each day for videos and assignments. The lack of access to Internet has been taken into consideration in making these plans. These plans will remain in effect until we return to school. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1JtBvt2r_Iw0s_OL8YQQK3jYD7aL5i05zvukO6bOhb-o/edit?usp=sharing

HMS Parents/Guardians: With the recent forecast for more wintry weather and Mr. Gauch's announcement, we are making plans for remote learning for next week. We are aware that not all of our students have Internet access and we will take that into consideration when making our plans. Look for more detailed information regarding remote learning plans in the event we have a remote learning day due to bad weather.
